Telcom snc is constituted as a society operating in the sector of household appliances import-export and the brand Telcom is deposited.

First steps
The society is transformed in Telcom Srl for wholesale trade and import-export.
The activity of the large distribution sector also begins with the opening of a hypermarket in Ostuni (BR) -
1989
The production takes off
The factory for the plastic material transformation is realized and so the industrial activity in rotational moulding begins. We begin to realize the first polyethylene tanks ever produced in Italy, particularly suited for food storage and the first vases in earthenware imitation.
The extension of production will confirm the company as absolute leader on the world market for product quantity, turnover and number of employees. -
1990
First targets
Tec Srl is constituted in Ostuni (BR) and a new larger indoor factory of 7000 sqm is inaugurated. It hosts the activity of compounding and mechanical workshop. Tec extends over 15.000 sqm and employs 130 workers.

1993
Commercial activity grows
Commercial activity is separated and the first hypermarkets are launched in Terlizzi (BA) e Brindisi, with the sign Mercatone Uno.
Telcom Trading is also constituted for the commercialisation of household appliances together with.V.General Appliances Commodities of Amsterdam (a special and exclusive line of products of A. Merloni SpA of Fabriano). -
1994
The USA venue
Telcom USA Inc. is founded in Boston, Massachusetts, for the production and the distribution of vases in North America. The factory is developed over an indoor area of 8.000 sqm and employs 150 workers.

1999
New openings
While in 1996, 35% of Sun Basket (PR) shares, committed to production of homologated cisterns for transport of dangerous goods, is acquired, in the following years the commercial activity grows with the openings of the new hypermarkets Mercatone Uno of Francavilla Fontana (BR), Mirabella (AV), S. Cesario (LE) and Matino (LE).

2000
Telcom SpA is founded
Telcom SpA is founded, by the merger of Tec Srl and Telcom Srl,
The production in the Cogit factory in Brindisi kicks off (production of canoes, boats, road barriers, wells) and a long activity of research and development begins with the entry into the Consortium Cetma (ENEA – Scientific Research).
The rapid prototyping plant through sintering laser technique is also installed. -
2001
Inaugurations and new productions
The activities of Garden Italia Srl factory in Legnano, committed to production of garden supplies, are initiated.
After its construction the new 20.000 smq indoor factory in Ostuni, is also inaugurated. The new production with injection moulding and the production of corrugated pipes find their place in here.

2002
New openings and new lines
The works of new productive factory in VillaFranca (Messina) begin in a former Pirelli factory. The site will be intended for production of products distributed on the Sicilian and Tyrrhenian – Meridional markets.

2003
Telcom Sh.p.K is founded in Albania
Telcom Sh.p.K. Albania is founded for the production in “the Land of the Eagles” of products as tanks for drinkable water, food and enology, supplies for interior and garden decoration. Products will be destined to Albania itself, Kosovo and Macedonia.
Telcom Trading initiates the distribution of household appliances with Philco brand exclusively for Italy. -
2004
Vasar line extends
The production in the factory of Villafranca, Messina kicks off.
The R&D department of Telcom, in collaboration with Fiat Auto, undertakes the new research project "Victor", aimed at the development of bodywork components of innovative urban vehicles with low environmental impact.
The new line for earthenware products named Vasarte is inaugurated in a new factory in Ostuni.
The range of products of Vasar brand becomes wider: new colors and more than 50 new references of rotational-moulded vases, in addition to traditional ones already in the catalogue, are presented in occasion of the GAFA.
Extension of the line Pet (Buddy) with the introduction of injection-moulding products as kennels, carriers, toilets and bowls. -
2005
Research and Development
It is the year of the partnership with the Engineering Department of plastic materials of the University of Massachussets, in the USA, for the study and the development of new products for interior design.
Ted line is also launched, with products dedicated to coverage of exterior surfaces with thermoplastic material products (tiles and roofing).
After 10 years of ongoing research and development in the field of products production for environmental protection, Telcom presents a complete line, named Ecologia, intended for wastewater treatment. -
2006
Telcom and the University
In collaboration with ENEA, CETMA and Ministry of University and Scientific Research, Telcom SpA signs an important agreement (VICTOR) with Centro Ricerche FIAT for the design and the development of bodywork interior components of innovative urban vehicles with low environmental impact.
3 robes and 3 mortboards donated by Telcom SpA will be worn by the students of the Degree Course in Business Administration in Brindisi, field office of the Università degli Studi di Bari, during the graduation sessions. This donation is the high symbolic value sign of collaborative relationships that take place between Telcom Spa and the world of University over many years. -
2007
Telcomest in Romania and AB Flowers in Spain are founded.
Telcom invests additionally in the presence abroad, by founding in Romania the society Telcomest for the production and the distribution of large capacity containers for wastewater, and in Spain the society AB Flowers in 2011, for the production and the distribution of Vasar line.

2008
Mission in Antarctica.
The trunks of Jolly line by Telcom are tested at low temperatures during an important research mission in Antarctica organized by Enea with American and New Zealander researchers.
In February, a historical transfer of power takes place in Telcom, from the Founder Alfonso Casale, to the son Raffaele that becomes chairman of the board. -
2010
New production contracts
The production starts in the factory of Arad (Romania) by the society Telcomest.

2011
An increasingly green company
Telcom settles and initiates at full capacity photovoltaic systems for almost 2 megawatts on all installed roofing that during the first biennium 2010/2012 made it possible to obtain a save in terms of energy consumption of approximately 1.507.464 CO²/KG producing about 3.151.000 kW.

Abruzzo Vasi production begins
Telcom acquires the well-known brand of earthenware articles ABRUZZO VASI of Teramo, by transferring entirely the production plant to Ostuni, and they strengthen the original production capacity from 2 to 8, hydraulic presses from 15 mc to 100 mc of furnaces for firing, it adds 2 plants of automatic turning and 2 rotating presses for steel moulds.

2014
Blow moulding production kicks off
Telcom initiates the Blow Moulding production. A production plant that allows realizing many products customizable in colour and shape in accordance with specific working orders. Today the company realizes, with this technology, vertical tanks with a capacity range from 500 liters to 1500 liters having different diameters.
